2011 Zeitgeist Trousseau Gris Russian River Valley
The 2011 Trousseau Gris is a fresh, aromatic and vibrant white wine. It displays both robust flavor and a fresh acidity. The nose is full of tropical and citrus fruits; we find lychee, mandarin and Meyer lemon. The warm fruit scents are peppered with delicate notes of clove and Daphne blossoms. Flavors of grated ginger and candied orange buoy this medium bodied white. It’s ready to drink and so pleasing, you’ll wonder how the bottle got empty. We enjoy serving it chilled with nearly any dish.
